-Not adding a greeting or salutation
-Not adding a signature file
-Using html only
-Sending large attachments
-Not including previous messages
-Expecting an immediate reply
-Replying to the wrong person
-Not using a spell checker
-Using capitals - SHOUTING
-Using CC: rather than BCC:
-Marking the email as "urgent" when it is not
-Not using http:// in url links
-Mistakes in Signatures - eg. Gravytrain Limited may not appear in all signatures (which it should)
